Peter Wolf Crier’s second album, Garden of Arms, will be released on September 6 on Jagjaguwar (September 5 in the UK). The follow up to 2010’s Inter-Be paints a vivid portrait of all the pain and beauty of growth. The first single from the record, “Right Away,” premiered on My Old Kentucky Blog. You can find it here.
Composed of voice, drums, bass, organs, vibraphone, guitars, and keys “at various speeds and directions,” per Pisano, the resulting songs reflect a new-found footing of confidence and experimentation. A fall tour schedule for the band will be announced soon.

Peter Wolf Crier knows that sometimes you gotta get creative growing crops in the northern climes of Duluth, MN. The band goes green for their North Shore Session, playing for the plant crowd and heating up a green house with “Untitled 101.” Sounds like it’ll be a good crop in Duluth this year!
Yes, it’s true. Peter Wolf Crier will be embarking on their first West Coast tour since the release of their debut album Inter-Be. They’ll be co-headlining this tour with Sub Pop recording artists Retribution Gospel Choir, featuring Alan Sparhawk and Steve Garrington from Low. Full tour dates after the jump.
